February 2015:  BTL Anti-Bullying Campaign - Los Cerros Middle School Danville, CA

Beyond the Locker will be rolling out a new program for the start of the spring semester of 2015 with the "TOGETHER WE RRRR" curriculum.  The anti-bullying campaign will kick off with an assembly for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students of Los Cerros middle school. The leadership class will be trained in character and leadership skills that will empower the students to influence their student body.  The students will impact the school culture by instituting a series of student run anti-bulling activities that will enhance the work that is already being done by the faculty and staff of Los Cerros Middle School.  

January 2015:  BTL Training Camp - Hopkins Junior High School Fremont, CA

Beyond the Locker will be working with the Avid students during the beginning of the spring semester at Hopkins .  The students will go through series of motivational modules that will help the students understand what it takes to "BE A PRO" in all areas of life.  The studies will be trained in the areas of self-awareness, communication, team building, leadership and character development.  The end goal of this program is to motivate students to reach their potential equip the students with practical tools to help them reach their goals.

December 1st - March 6th, 2015:  BTL Training Camp 2 - Robertson High School Fremont, CA

Beyond the Locker will be training 20 high school students for the first trimester of the 2014-15 school year.  This is the start of the fourth consecutive year at Robertson HS.  The training camp program trains students in the areas of self-awareness, communication, team building, leadership and character development.  The students are first challenged to focus on discovering their potential and then challenged to apply real world skills through the production of a community project.

December 21st, 2014:  BTL Leadership Appreciation Day - Raiders vs Bills

Beyond the Locker will be having their Second Annual Leadership Appreciation Day to honor and thank the students that have successfully gone through the Training Camp Program during the Fall of 2014. September 15th - November 21st, 2014:  BTL Training Camp 1 - Robertson High School - Fremont, CA

Beyond the Locker will be training 20 high school students for the first trimester of the 2014-15 school year.  This is the start of the fourth consecutive year at Robertson HS.  The training camp program trains students in the areas of self-awareness, communication, team building, leadership and character development.  The students are first challenged to focus on discovering their potential and then challenged to apply real world skills through the production of a community project.  

July 26th, 2014:  BTL Mini Camp - San Francisco City Impact Conference - San Francisco, CA

Beyond the Locker partners with San Francisco City Impact and over 40 other San Francisco Community Organizations to serve the people of the Tenderloin District.  BTL brings its Mini Camp Program to impact the youth of the Tenderloin with life skills and sports drills.  This is the 4th year of an annual collaboration with San Francisco City Impact and its mission to serve the tenderloin. 

July 24th, 2014: BTL Sports Competition - Junior High Summer School FUSD - Fremont, CA

The culmination of a month long partnership with Fremont Unified School District's Summer School and the Beyond the Locker Academy. The students are evaluated  in a series of athletic drills, then rewarded for their effort during the program with prizes and a certificate of completion.  The event was highlighted by motivational speeches and interaction with professional athletes and community members.   

July 2nd - July 23rd, 2014:  BTL Summer Academy - Junior High Summer School FUSD - Fremont, CA

The second year of the partnership with FUSD tripled its number of participating students in the BTL Summer Academy.  The 600 students of the summer school program were trained by Team BTL in the GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT! curriculum.  This curriculum focuses on social-emotional learning principles along with leadership development and team building.  

April 8th - May 20th, 2014:  Kaiser Permanente/BTL Academy - Walters Junior High School - Fremont, CA

This is the third of three programs that the Kaiser Permanente Community grant funded.  This program brought Robertson High School students to Walters Junior High School to facilitate the Junior High BTL Training Camp program.  The High School students taught the middle school students different self empowerment tools through the "GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT" curriculum.   

Dec 2nd, 2013 - March 14th, 2014:  BTL Training Camp 2 Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente - Robertson High School - Fremont, CA

Beyond the Locker will be training 20 high school students for the second trimester of the 2013-14 school year.  This is the continuation of the third consecutive year at Robertson High School.  The training camp program trains students in the areas of self-awareness, communication, team building, leadership and character development.  The students are first challenged to focus on discovering their potential and then challenged to apply real world skills through the production of a community project.
